Lefty Begone: Obama's Cronyism Leads to Oil Spill in Minnesota

leftybegone:

I love the Law of Unintended Consequences that always comes into play whenever liberals attempt to do anything good for anybody. See, when they’re not outright trying to screw people over, liberals do sometimes actually try to help—and end up screwing people over in the process anyway.

Remember…

Coal: the cleanest energy source there is?

Researchers have discovered a stunning new process that takes the energy from coal without burning it — and removes virtually all of the pollution.

The process removes 99 percent of the pollution from coal, which some scientists link to global warming. Coal-burning power plants produced about one-third of the nation’s carbon dioxide total in 2010, or about 2.3 billion metric tons, according to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

Amazing.

Somehow, we have to figure out how to boost the price of gasoline to the levels in Europe.

—Steven Chu, Secretary of Energy for President Barack Obama

Another Huge Obama Pipeline: Keystone Pipeline

In order to appease the green-hippies on the left, the Obama Administration and the Left has pushed away the Keystone Pipeline which could have brought HUGE promise and progress towards North American energy independence and national security.

Now, Canada has decided its not going to wait around for US to decide. Its going with China.

The benefits to Canada of exporting to Asia are obvious. Canada currently earns less per barrel for its oil than the market price because it is a captive supplier to the U.S. Opening the market to Asia means more money for Canada. But there is no conceivable benefit to the United States in having oil from our closest, most trusted neighbor sold to China. The United States loses jobs and is forced to continuing buy its oil from nations like Venezuela and Saudi Arabia instead.

Obama’s green energy policy has been nothing but a failure. Its not actually working, its just a way to hook the liberal left for more and more votes: It will continue to fail when you give billions in “green energy investments” to companies that are as large as a handful of people… and call it progress.

Another sham.

This is truth. Any economist (esp. Libertarian economist) will tell you that.

I know a lot of people will question their motive and will say “ah this is Pro-oil(?)” but just as a rose smells as sweet by any other name, so too does truth ring true… regardless of the messenger.
